Deconstruyendo Acido

Film Synopsis

Deconstructing Acid is a visual essay in the form of short film that explores the editorial project Acido Surtido and its multiple strategies. The film constitutes an exploration of the various creative processes that shaped the project and, by extension, its transverse readings.

Filmed in urban spaces common to the group, Deconstructing Acid, in addition to a brief dialogue with the editors, is
a reflection on the beginnings of Acido Surtido as socio-political context and a review of its various editions.

About Acido Surtido

Acido Surtido is a project about art and design, which is distributed free at various places in the country. Its first edition appeared in late 2001, in response to inaction and despair that gripped the country's cultural production in those days. Today, after eight years of continuous work and in the midst of an economic and cultural crisis of global reach, Acido Surtido renews the commitment to recover common building spaces and collective in a meeting with other voices and other areas. An excuse to convene, gather, share something. Acido Surtido brings together in a printed sheet 65 cm x 95 cm, work done by collaborators around the same central theme that runs as a conceptual framework and trigger ideas. Both the theme / concept convener, as well as the group of participating partners, are unique to each issue and define the nature of the issue.
